Description

Induction furnaces

is an induction heating furnace that uses the principle of electromagnetic induction to heat metal. It is widely used in high-temperature heating and low-temperature heating. In high-temperature heating, forging industry, casting industry and metal quenching and tempering heating, and low-temperature heating steel pipe anti-corrosion spraying preheating. Induction furnaces have become indispensable heating equipment.

 

Induction Furnaces Equipment Composition

(1) Induction coil of induction furnaces: the induction coil is the heart of the induction furnace. The electromagnetic energy is transformed into heat energy through the induction coil to melt the metal charge in the crucible. It is made of rectangular copper tube and wound into a multi turn coil in a spiral shape. The surface is sprayed with high-strength insulating paint and wrapped with insulating tape. Fire resistant mastic is also coated between the turns of the medium frequency furnace, and a water-cooled ring is set above and below the induction coil.

 

(2) Yoke of induction furnace: the yoke is made of high-quality silicon steel sheets and is distributed around the periphery of the induction ring to support the skeleton. At the same time, it also restricts the magnetic flux leakage outside the induction ring to prevent the heating of metal components.

 

(3) Water cooling cable of induction furnace: due to frequent furnace tilting, the flexible wire of the water-cooling cable is easy to be broken and the connecting bolt at the terminal is loose, which may cause current imbalance. Generally, the service life of the water-cooling cable is determined according to the times of furnace tilting. It needs to be replaced after three years. If the bolt changes color, it needs to be renewed and tightened in time.

 

(4) Furnace lining of induction furnace: the temperature of the induction melting furnace is high in production, the furnace temperature changes greatly, and it also bears slag erosion and electromagnetic stirring. High-temperature molten iron directly washes the crucible furnace lining, which is very easy to be damaged, and the furnace building cost is high. Prolonging the service life of induction furnace lining and reducing the furnace building frequency are very important to reduce the cost.

 

(5) Crucible leakage alarm device of induction furnace: in order to ensure safe production, prevent the occurrence and expansion of furnace leakage accident, help to judge the use of furnace lining and prolong furnace life, it is necessary to set crucible leakage alarm system. Generally, the DC alarm device is adopted, and the stainless steel wire bottom electrode (the first electrode) in contact with the molten iron and the stainless steel plate (mesh) side electrode (the second electrode) on the induction ring of the furnace lining are installed respectively.
