Are you looking for induction furnace manufacturers in India?

Hani Metallurgy is one of the professional induction furnace manufacturers in China,  focused on the development, design, and production of various specifications of heating furnace equipment.

The company has more than one hundred technicians, including senior engineers, senior consultants, engineers with strong design capabilities and a strong technical force. Our products are extensively used in steel plant and mechanical industries, so we become the leading steelmaking furnace manufacturer in this industry in the mainland of China. Our induction furnaces have been exported to the Mideast, Asia, India, Africa, South America, etc, and all over the world, our professional sales team is providing a high-quality service to customers all around the world.

An induction furnace is a commonly used smelting equipment in the industry. It has a compact structure, strong overload capacity, high melting efficiency and good energy-saving effect. It is often used for smelting non-ferrous metals and ferrous metals. Many people know that the electric induction furnace works well, but most people are not clear about its principle and structure. Next, I will introduce the principle and structure of the induction furnace to help you understand the induction furnace in depth.

1. Principle of Induction Furnace Manufacturers in India

Based on the principle of electromagnetic induction, the induction furnace converts three-phase power frequency current into single-phase medium-frequency current by relying on the medium-frequency power supply on its back. The intermediate frequency electric furnace includes the induction melting furnace. Its internal basic structure includes the rectifier part, the inverter part and the furnace body part. The principle of the rectifier part is to convert the alternating current into direct current after rectification, so that the direct current energy can be stored; The principle of the inverter part is that after the DC power passes through the inverter, it becomes the AC power required for use or the specified frequency; The furnace body part is a position where AC power is supplied to the furnace body part.

In addition to these, when the energy is stored in the induction furnace, the DC energy is stored in the capacitor, which is equivalent to potential energy. When the power is switched on, the capacitor will be charged immediately. And the voltage of the parallel circuit in the induction furnace is the same no matter on the induction coil, capacitor or inverter.

2. Structural Composition of Induction Furnace Manufacturers in India

(1) Intermediate Frequency Power Supply

It is composed of an intermediate frequency power supply cabinet and capacitance compensation frame. With the improvement of the power of the facilities, the power supply voltage of the medium frequency power supply is also different. The common ones in China are 380V, 575V, 660V, 750V, 950V, 1100V, etc. The power supply phase number is also divided into three phases, six phases, and twelve phases.

The intermediate frequency power supply cabinet is composed of the main switch, rectifier thyristor, inverter thyristor, main control board and smoothing reactor. The main control panel is equivalent to the human brain. At present, the constant power main control board is mostly used, and there are two processes: wave soldering and manual soldering. The wave soldering process is stable and the failure rate is low.

(2) Furnace Body

Aluminum shell induction furnaces, stainless steel shell induction furnaces and hydraulic magnetic yoke steel shell induction furnaces are mostly used in the furnace body of induction furnaces. There are two ways of tilting the furnace: reducer tilting and hydraulic tilting

(3) Drive

The transmission device includes mechanical or hydraulic devices such as the movement of the furnace cover and the tilting and resetting of the furnace body.

(4) Water Cooling System

Water-cooled parts include a medium-frequency power supply, inductor, capacitor, busbar, flexible cable, etc. In order to save water, circulating cooling is usually adopted.

3. Basic Classification of Induction Furnace Manufacturers in India

Induction furnaces can be divided into high-frequency furnaces, medium-frequency furnaces, and power-frequency furnaces according to power supply frequency. According to the processing purpose, it can be divided into a smelting furnace, heating furnace, heat treatment equipment, and welding equipment. Induction furnaces can also be classified according to their structure and transmission mode. However, according to usage habits, induction furnaces are generally divided into cored induction furnaces, coreless induction furnaces, vacuum induction furnaces, induction quenching equipment, induction head heating equipment, etc.

(1) Thermal Induction Melting Furnace

This kind of induction furnace is named after the iron core passing through the induction coil, and is also called a trough furnace because the heat source is a surrounding metal groove. It has the advantages of fast heating speed, high electric heating efficiency, small metal damage, low smelting cost, less equipment investment, and convenient operation. However, it is difficult to open the furnace and change metal varieties, which are more suitable for continuous melting and heat preservation of single or large quantities of metals.

(2) Vacuum Induction Melting Furnace

The smelting furnace is generally used for smelting heat-resistant alloy, magnetic alloy, high-strength steel, electrical alloy, etc. In the smelting process, it is easy to control the furnace temperature, smelting time and vacuum degree, as well as the additional amount of alloy materials. It is suitable for smelting heat-resistant alloys containing aluminum, titanium and other active elements.

(3) Induction Quenching Equipment

The equipment is mainly composed of a power supply, quenching machine tool, and quenching control equipment (including an inductor). It has the advantages of good quality, fast speed, low cost, less oxidation, and easy-to-realize mechanization and automation.
